👤 Position: Live-in Housekeeper

👫 Household: 1 adult. The employer has recently relocated to Rotterdam and lives alone.

🕒 Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, live-in position. (The person could live in the house at the weekend if required).
📅 Start Date: 1st of November.
💼 Duties: Full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, with the objective of keeping the property perfectly maintained, organised and comfortable at all times. Duties include thorough cleaning, tidying and organisation, laundry, ironing and garment care, changing bed linen, general household upkeep and taking care of all the domestic details required for the smooth running of the home. The employer is accustomed to having household staff and a high standard of domestic service from previously living in London, including housekeeping and cooking support. Therefore, the candidate should be comfortable providing an attentive and high level of service, anticipating what needs to be done and making the employer’s daily life as comfortable and well organised as possible. The position requires someone who can take ownership of the household rather than waiting for constant instructions.
✅ Requirements: Previous experience as a housekeeper in high-standard private households is essential. The person is looking for someone responsible, hardworking, highly organised, discreet, proactive and completely trustworthy, who understands professional household service and is able to anticipate the employer’s needs. Spanish is essential, as the employer specifically requires someone who can communicate fluently in Spanish. The candidate must have nationality from an EU/EEA country or otherwise hold documentation that provides the unrestricted legal right to live and work in the Netherlands. The employer is looking for a stable, long-term candidate who genuinely wants to settle into the position and become a trusted part of the household. Flexibility, attention to detail, a positive attitude and excellent standards of service are particularly important. Excellent and verifiable references required.
💰 Salary: €1,800 per month in 12 payments.
