👤 Position: Part-time Live-out Housekeeper with childcare support
📍 Location: Chamartín, Madrid
👫 Household: Family of 5 with three children aged 2, 5 and 7
🐕 Pets: One small dog
🕒 Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, from 16:00 to 20:00. Occasional availability for evenings and weekends may also be required.
📅 Start Date: Within the next few weeks
💼 Duties: General support with the day-to-day running of the household, including cleaning, tidying and organization, laundry, garment care and cooking. The role also includes helping with the three children during the afternoons. One of the parents will usually be at home working, so the candidate will provide practical support with the children rather than having sole responsibility for them on a daily basis. Occasional school pick-ups may be required, although the parent will normally take care of this. The family would particularly appreciate someone who enjoys cooking, and knowledge of Indian-style cuisine would be a significant plus
✅ Requirements: Previous experience working in private households and confidence combining domestic responsibilities with childcare. The family is looking for someone responsible, organized, proactive, caring, positive and completely trustworthy, who can take initiative and help make the family’s daily routine easier. Some English is important, as the family is still learning Spanish and needs to be able to communicate comfortably with the candidate. The person should be comfortable working around children and a small dog and be flexible enough to provide occasional evening or weekend support when agreed in advance. Good references and valid documentation to work in Spain are required.
💰 Salary: 900 Euros/month in 12 payments a year.
