🕒 Days and hours: Live-in position, with particular need for support during afternoons/evenings and weekends. The family preferentially proposes weekly time off from Thursday evening until Saturday morning, with Friday free. The final schedule will be agreed upon in accordance with working hours and corresponding rest days.
📅 Start date: As soon as possible, although the family will prioritize finding the right person.
💼 Duties: This position is designed as a genuine family support role rather than one focused exclusively on cleaning, as the family employs another domestic worker in the mornings who handles mainly cleaning and laundry. An important function will be cooking, preparing and properly organizing family meals and dinners. You will also collaborate with the daily organization and maintenance of the home, coordinating with the other domestic worker. You must provide occasional support to the father, who currently has reduced mobility. Another especially important aspect of the role will be accompanying the 17-year-old daughter: picking her up or driving her when necessary, keeping her company at home and progressively becoming a trusted, close adult figure. During weekends you may accompany her or suggest activities and plans, as well as provide general support in the family's daily organization.
✅ Requirements: Driving license essential and regular experience driving in Madrid. Good home cooking skills and previous experience working with families. We seek a particularly mature, affectionate, empathetic, patient person with excellent rapport with teenagers, but who can also maintain appropriate boundaries. For the family it is fundamental to find someone capable of building a natural bond with their daughter, without invading her space or adopting a constant surveillance attitude. Previous experience accompanying teenagers requiring greater emotional support will be especially valued. Experience with ill or mobility-reduced persons will also be highly valued. Must be discreet, stable, resourceful, observant, with initiative and absolutely trustworthy, capable of identifying where you can help and genuinely facilitate the family's daily life. Essential to be comfortable with dogs. The family seeks a stable, long-term relationship and will especially prioritize personal fit, trust and the ability to integrate naturally into their dynamics. Verifiable professional references and valid work permit required.
💰 Salary: Approximately €1,800–2,000 net per month, negotiable for an exceptional candidate. Enrollment in Spanish Household Social Security regime. You will have your own space in the home and meals included.
