Temporary nanny with English in San Pedro (Marbella)

Position

Live-out Nanny exclusively focused on the care of a 3-month-old baby.

Household

Family with one 3-month-old baby. Days & Hours: Every day, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Start Date

The family arrives in Spain on 28 October. The initial commitment is for 1 month, with the possibility of extending the position if the family extends their stay.

Salary

From 1,800 to 2,000 Euros/month, depending on experience and skills. The initial commitment is for one month, with the possibility of extension.

Duties

• The selected nanny will be fully focused on the care and wellbeing of the 3-month-old baby.
• Responsibilities will include feeding, bottle preparation if required, changing, hygiene, sleep routines, settling the baby, keeping the baby’s belongings organized and providing gentle, age-appropriate stimulation.
• A particularly important part of the routine will be spending plenty of time outdoors.
• The family would like someone who is active and happy to take the baby for long daily walks in the stroller, weather permitting.
• The nanny should support the baby’s early development through talking, interaction, tummy time, sensory stimulation and appropriate play, always respecting the baby’s natural rhythms and routines.
• This is a childcare-only position.
• No general housekeeping or family cooking is required.

Requirements

• Solid previous experience caring for newborns and very young babies is essential.
• The family is looking for a mature and experienced nanny who feels completely confident caring for a 3-month-old independently and understands feeding, sleep, hygiene, routines and early development.
• The candidate should be warm, patient, responsible, attentive, energetic and highly trustworthy.
• English is essential.
• Driving is not required.
• The candidate must be comfortable walking frequently and spending extended periods outdoors with the stroller.
• Excellent verifiable references.
