Live-in nanny with English and driving licence for a family in Mallorca

Position

Full-time Live-in Nanny.

Household members

Family with two children aged 6 and 9.

Pets

One dog. Days & Hours: 40 working hours per week + up to 20 hours of presence time, mainly on travel days. These additional hours will be paid or compensated accordingly. Flexibility is required to adapt to the family’s routine.

Start Date

As soon as possible.

Salary

Approximately €1,700–€2,100 net per month, depending on experience and profile, + Social Security. Permanent contract and 30 days of paid annual leave. The family provides a private apartment of approximately 45 m² with kitchen, desk, bedroom and bathroom. A car will also be available for work-related needs.

Duties

• The selected candidate will be mainly focused on the care and support of the two children.
• She will help with their daily routines, homework, school organization, education, activities and general needs, encouraging their independence and supporting them in a warm and positive way.
• She will also be responsible for cooking for the family, doing and organizing the laundry, keeping the children’s areas tidy, carrying out occasional shopping or errands when needed, and helping ensure that day-to-day family life runs smoothly and efficiently.
• General house cleaning and gardening are not part of the role, as the family already has dedicated staff for these tasks.
• She should also be comfortable around the family dog and help with basic pet-related needs when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience caring for school-age children and good verifiable references.
• The family is looking for someone highly reliable, responsible, caring, positive, organized, discreet and proactive, with the ability to work independently and use good judgement.
• It is important that she can support the children not only with their daily care, but also with homework, education, organization and development.
• She should integrate naturally into the family’s routine, work well as a team with the parents and be flexible with travel and occasional changes in schedule.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Speaking Spanish is a plus.
• A valid driving licence is required.
• The family is looking for someone stable, committed and genuinely interested in a long-term position.
