Live-in Housekeeper / Childcare/ Family Assistant.

One large dog and one small dog. Days & Hours: Monday to Saturday, live-in position. Flexible schedule depending on the family’s needs.

Salary

€2,500–€3,500 per month in 12 payments, depending on experience and profile. Accommodation is provided as part of the live-in position.

Duties

• The selected candidate will play an important role in the daily running of the household and should be comfortable supporting the family in a broad and flexible way.
• Responsibilities will include general cleaning and maintaining the home to a high standard, tidying and organization, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, changing bed linen, keeping bedrooms and common areas organized, helping with grocery shopping and household errands, and preparing simple family meals when required.
• The position also includes childcare support for the children aged 7 and 14, helping with their routines, being available when the parents need support, accompanying or supervising them when necessary, and driving them to school activities, appointments or extracurricular activities.
• The family is looking for someone who is naturally attentive and proactive, notices what needs to be done, anticipates practical needs and helps make everyday life easier and more organized.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in private households is essential, ideally in positions combining housekeeping and family support.
• The candidate must speak English and have a valid driving licence.
• Experience with children is important, together with a warm, sensible and responsible approach to childcare.
• The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys domestic service and takes pride in looking after a home and supporting a family.
• She should be trustworthy, discreet, positive, cheerful, hardworking, flexible, organized and proactive, with a high level of autonomy and common sense.
• It is particularly important that she integrates naturally into the household, works as part of a team with the parents, understands the family’s routines and preferences, and contributes to creating a calm, well-organized and pleasant home environment.
• Stability is especially important to the family, as they are used to having long-term household staff.
• Their previous nanny worked with them for 5 years, and they are now looking for someone who genuinely wants to build a stable, long-term working relationship with the family.
• The ideal candidate will be dependable and committed, happy to help wherever needed, while also understanding professional boundaries and respecting the family’s privacy.
• She must be comfortable around both a large and a small dog and have excellent verifiable references.
