Location

Mallorca. The estate is located approximately 1 km from a village. During the summer season, the couple must move with the employers to their summer residence by the sea, also in Mallorca.

Salary

1,500 € per month for each person, in 12 payments, + Social Security. The family provides a separate apartment within the estate, fully equipped for the couple to live in.

Days and hours

Working schedule during the week, usually starting at 07:30. They will have one full day and one afternoon off per week, to be agreed upon mutually with the family. Flexibility is required to adapt to the running of the estate and to the periods at the summer residence.

Duties

• We are looking for a well-coordinated couple, with experience working together and able to share responsibilities independently.
• He will mainly be in charge of the general maintenance of the estate, exterior cleaning, and support with certain interior cleaning tasks, driving, errands, minor repairs and practical supervision of the property.
• He will not be responsible for the garden, as the family has a gardener.
• It is important that he be handy, with basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, painting and general maintenance, able to resolve minor incidents without always needing to call external professionals.
• He must also have a driving licence and table service knowledge.
• She will mainly be in charge of cleaning and interior organisation of the house, laundry, ironing, clothing care, family cooking and other usual domestic duties.
• Both must support each other when necessary and contribute to keeping the house running in an orderly, smooth way and well looked after.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a live-in couple on estates, private homes or properties with similar characteristics.
• We are looking for people who are polite, discreet, hardworking, stable, resourceful and highly autonomous, able to identify what is needed and act without waiting for constant instructions.
• It is especially important that they have a genuine interest in the work, pay attention to detail, and understand that maintaining an estate requires initiative, consistency and commitment.
• The family is used to very long-lasting working relationships with the couples who work for them, so they are seeking a couple who wants to settle in the long term, integrate well into their routine and become people of absolute trust.
• They must work well as a team, respect their responsibilities and know how to support each other when necessary.
• He must have a driving licence and practical experience in minor repairs and maintenance.
• She must have good experience in cleaning, ironing and family cooking.
• Both must feel comfortable living with a large dog.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit.
