Mainly Mojácar, Almería. The family also has another property in Macael, to which you may occasionally need to travel to carry out a task, supervision or support when necessary.

Salary

From 1,400 € per month for each person in 14 payments, or 1,600 € per month for each person in 12 payments, + Social Security, depending on experience and profile.

Days and hours

Live-in arrangement, with flexibility according to the needs of the properties and the family. The workload varies considerably depending on the time of year. During summer, holidays, weekends and periods with family members or guests, activity is more intense and greater flexibility and dedication will be required. In winter and in quieter seasons, the household's pace is considerably more relaxed and the couple will have more free time.

Duties

• They are looking for a couple who will jointly take responsibility for the smooth running and daily care of the main house in Mojácar.
• She will mainly take care of the interior of the home: cleaning, tidiness and organization, laundry, very good ironing and high-quality home cooking.
• The family also has another person who comes some days of the week to carry out deeper cleaning and support with certain tasks, so it will be important to coordinate well and work as a team.
• He will mainly take care of the general maintenance of the property and must be a handyman, resourceful and capable of resolving minor incidents and repairs.
• He must also be able to coordinate and supervise external suppliers when a repair requires specialized professionals.
• Although the estate has a gardener, knowledge of gardening and outdoor areas will be valued in order to provide support when necessary, as well as basic knowledge of pool maintenance and care.
• Both must work as a team and be attentive to the overall proper functioning of the property.
• He will also carry out driving duties.
• Occasionally, one or both of them may need to travel to the Macael property to carry out tasks, organize the house, supervise work or attend to a specific need.

Requirements

• Experience working in private homes, with prior experience on estates or properties of similar characteristics being especially valued.
• It is important that they form a stable couple and are used to working together and sharing responsibilities.
• At least one of them must hold a driving licence.
• She must have a very good standard of cleaning, ironing and home cooking.
• He must have knowledge of general maintenance, be a handyman, and cope well with coordinating suppliers and resolving the practical needs of an estate.
• Both must speak Spanish; knowledge of English will be positively valued.
• The family is looking for a responsible, hardworking, positive, discreet, organized, resourceful couple of absolute trust, who want to settle for a long time, integrate well into the family dynamic and provide stability and continuity.
• It is especially important that they can adapt to a seasonal dynamic: periods of high activity in summer and holidays, and much quieter periods during winter, understanding that flexibility must work in both directions.
• They must also be able to coordinate with the rest of the staff already working on the property and maintain good team dynamics.
