Days and hours

Live-out arrangement. Days and hours to be agreed with the family. Flexibility and availability for travel and possible weekend trips around Spain, approximately once every two months, are required.

Duties

• Multi-purpose role combining the functions of private driver with general maintenance of a private residence and support in domestic service.
• Will be responsible for driving the owners when necessary, carrying out trips, shopping, errands and other tasks related to the family and the home.
• Will also be responsible for minor repairs and household breakdowns, basic maintenance of the facilities, cleaning windows, terraces and outdoor areas, and other practical tasks necessary to keep the property in good condition.
• Also required to know table protocol, assist in the preparation and service of meals and dinners with guests, including table setting, serving food and beverages, attending to diners and clearing up afterwards.
• We are looking for a person capable of working autonomously, identifying maintenance needs, resolving minor incidents and contributing to the overall smooth running of the property, combining the roles of driver, external caretaker and dining service support.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a private driver, maintenance employee of private properties, caretaker, or in similar positions combining several of these responsibilities.
• A valid driving licence is essential, with habitual and safe driving, and good knowledge of Madrid and its surroundings.
• Must have practical knowledge of household maintenance, ability to resolve minor breakdowns, experience in cleaning and outdoor care, and a willingness to perform different tasks according to the needs of the home.
• Experience in table service, guest attention and knowledge of protocol in private homes will be especially valued.
• Must speak Spanish correctly.
