Days and hours

Live-in arrangement, with flexibility according to the property's usual needs. The family does not live there but visits some weekends and during some holidays (Christmas, Holy Week...). Therefore, the couple must be available when the family is there, and may compensate for this time with free time while the family is absent.

Duties

• The selected couple will be responsible for the care and smooth running of the country estate, working in a coordinated and autonomous manner.
• The farm has other workers, so this position will focus specifically on the house and the residential surroundings of the property.
• She will be mainly in charge of the interior of the home: general and deep cleaning, order and organization, laundry, excellent ironing, and traditional home cooking.
• We are looking for a person with solid experience in household chores, able to run the house independently, keep it always well maintained, and anticipate the family's needs.
• Experience preparing Filipino dishes will be very positively valued.
• He will be mainly in charge of the exterior and general maintenance of the estate: garden, swimming pool, minor repairs, and resolving day-to-day incidents.
• It is important that he be a handyman, with basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, painting, and general maintenance.
• When more complex jobs arise, he must know how to contact the appropriate professionals, coordinate their work, and follow up until the problem is resolved.
• He will also run errands and, when necessary, may drive one of the owners by car.
• Both must be attentive to the overall smooth running of the estate and help ensure the family enjoys a comfortable, organized, and peaceful life.
• Formal table service is not required, although an attentive attitude and availability to help with whatever may be needed within the usual running of the house are essential.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a live-in couple, estate caretakers, or a couple working on farms, country estates, or private homes.
• We are looking for a responsible, honest, discreet, hardworking couple of absolute trust, who coordinate well, show initiative, and are capable of solving problems independently.
• It is very important that both have a positive, cheerful, and pleasant attitude, and want to join a stable, long-term project.
• At least one of the two must hold a driving licence.
• Being able to communicate in English will be very positively valued.
• The couple may have children, as there is sufficient space on the property.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit.
