Salary

€1,500 net per month for each person, in 12 payments + Social Security. Accommodation within the estate, with electricity and water included. The couple could have kids living with them.

Duties

• The selected couple will jointly be in charge of the surveillance, care and general upkeep of the property.
• Their responsibilities will include supervising that everything is in order, keeping watch for any incidents, carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs, helping with the care of the outdoor areas, and taking charge of the cleaning, tidiness and upkeep of the house when necessary.
• She will also be responsible for the laundry, washing clothes and good ironing.
• Support with cooking when needed will be viewed positively, although it is not an essential requirement.
• The family is looking for a practical and versatile couple, capable of dividing the tasks well, spotting what is needed and handling the day-to-day running of the estate with autonomy, without needing constant instructions.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as caretakers, live-in couple, or on estates and private properties.
• The family is looking for a responsible, honest, discreet, hardworking, organised, resourceful and completely trustworthy couple, with initiative and a genuine sense of responsibility for the property.
• It is important that they work well as a team, have a good temperament and feel comfortable with a quieter life connected to the care of an estate.
• Experience in general maintenance, minor repairs, outdoor care and domestic duties will be especially valued.
• For her, a good level of laundry and ironing skills is important, and knowledge of home cooking will be viewed positively.
• The intention is to find a stable, committed couple with a real interest in staying long term.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit.
