Salary

Proven experience as a caretaking couple on estates, or in private homes, manor houses or large properties. It is essential that both are hardworking, responsible, organized, discreet, honest, resourceful and fully trustworthy, with good communication skills and the ability to work as a team. The woman must master domestic duties, family cooking, washing and ironing. The man must have practical experience in gardening, general maintenance, minor repairs, pools and installations, as well as knowledge of table service. Autonomy, initiative and the ability to anticipate the needs of a property that remains unoccupied for much of the time will be especially valued. Preferably, at least one of the two should hold a driving licence. Verifiable good references and documentation in order to work in Spain are essential.

Salary

1,496 Euros/month gross (1,400 Euros net) in 12 payments per year for each of them, with contract and registration with Social Security.

Duties

• We are selecting a couple with experience in the comprehensive care of private properties, able to work as a team and take responsibility for the maintenance and smooth running of a manor house.
• The woman will be mainly responsible for all domestic duties inside the house, including daily and deep cleaning, care of bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas, window cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe organization and general upkeep of order.
• She must have a good level of traditional home cooking and the ability to prepare meals when the family is at the property, always keeping the house ready for their arrival.
• The man will be responsible for the exterior maintenance of the house, garden care, cleaning of terraces, patios and outdoor areas, pool maintenance, minor repairs and supervision of the correct operation of the facilities, including electrical generators and other equipment.
• He must be especially skilled and handy, able to detect incidents, carry out basic maintenance work and coordinate specialized repairs when necessary.
• He will also be responsible for table service.
• Both must collaborate on general cleaning, organization and preparation of the house, especially before and after the family's stays, ensuring the house is always in perfect condition.
