📍 Location: Valencia. The role involves travelling with the family, both within and outside Europe — Dubai, Istanbul and other destinations.
👫 Household members: A family with a 13-year-old son at home. An older son, 21, lives in the UK and visits.
🐕 Pets: One medium-sized dog. The candidate must be comfortable around pets and free of allergies.
🕒 Days and hours: Live-in, Monday to Saturday, finishing at 13:00 on Saturday. Availability to travel with the family is an essential part of the role.
📅 Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found.
💼 Duties: Running the household — cleaning, laundry care, ironing and everyday cooking — together with looking after the family's 13-year-old son. At his age this is about company and support with the daily routine rather than hands-on childcare. Care of the dog as part of the daily routine. When the family travels, the same duties continue on the road.
✅ Requirements: Good English, as it is the language of communication with the family. Experience running a household independently and in caring for children, with a warm, patient and genuinely engaging manner — the family places personality above everything else, and the fit with their son is the deciding factor. Comfortable around dogs and with no allergies to pets. Comfort with a life that involves frequent travel. Valid Spanish work permit. European passport is also a plus but not indispensable.
💰 Salary: €1,500 gross per month in 12 payments.
