Duties

• Running the household — cleaning, laundry care, ironing and everyday cooking — together with looking after the family's 13-year-old son.
• At his age this is about company and support with the daily routine rather than hands-on childcare.
• Care of the dog as part of the daily routine.
• When the family travels, the same duties continue on the road.

Requirements

• Good English, as it is the language of communication with the family.
• Experience running a household independently and in caring for children, with a warm, patient and genuinely engaging manner — the family places personality above everything else, and the fit with their son is the deciding factor.
• Comfortable around dogs and with no allergies to pets.
• Comfort with a life that involves frequent travel.
• Valid Spanish work permit.
• European passport is also a plus but not indispensable.
