Salary

During the first month, the salary will be €713 per month + Social Security for 20 hours per week. If the working day is later extended to 40 hours per week, the salary will become approximately €1,425 per month + Social Security, in 12 payments. The conditions corresponding to travel will be agreed specifically with the family.

Days and hours

Initially, during the first month, the working day will be 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, approximately from 16:00 to 20:00. If during this first month both parties are satisfied with the adaptation and functioning of the position, the family intends to extend the working day to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, approximately from 12:00 to 20:00. The family travels occasionally, a maximum of approximately two times a year, and on those occasions will need the candidate to be available to accompany them. The specific conditions of each trip will be arranged in advance with the candidate.

Duties

• The selected person will mainly be responsible for the care and smooth running of the home, working with autonomy and helping to keep the house always clean, organized and well maintained.
• Their main responsibilities will include general and thorough cleaning, daily upkeep of the home, laundry, ironing, care and organization of clothing, tidying bedrooms, toys and common areas.
• They may also occasionally be in charge of preparing simple meals and other practical tasks necessary to facilitate the family's daily organization.
• Part of the position will also involve support with the 8-year-old girl, accompanying and supervising her when necessary, helping with her routines and spending time with her in a close and positive way.
• Since the girl is bilingual in French and Spanish and also speaks English well, it will be positively valued if the candidate has knowledge of one of these additional languages, although it is not an essential requirement unless the family determines otherwise later on. The family is looking for a person who, once they know the house and its routines well, can operate with considerable autonomy, anticipate needs and help make day-to-day life smoother and more organized.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in private homes, with a good standard of cleaning, laundry, ironing and household organization.
• The family is looking for a person who is stable, responsible, organized, positive, affectionate with children, discreet, honest and fully trustworthy, with initiative and the ability to work without constant supervision.
• It is important that they have a good way with children and can integrate naturally into the family dynamic.
• They must also be available to travel occasionally with the family, approximately up to two times a year.
• Particular value will be placed on an interest in a stable, long-term working relationship, as the intention is that, once the first month has been successfully completed, the position will become full-time.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit.
