Days and hours

Availability is required from early morning to get the child ready and ensure he is prepared to leave for school by 7:40 a.m. It will also be necessary to look after him in the afternoons, on weekends, and during periods without school. The family needs schedule flexibility and availability to stay overnight occasionally. Working hours, breaks, and overnight stays to be agreed, respecting labor regulations.

Duties

• The main priority will be the care and attention of the child, including getting him ready in the mornings, organizing routines, accompanying him in his daily activities, and caring for him after school (he gets home between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. depending on the day).
• The selected person will help with homework, encourage reading, carry out educational activities and games suitable for his age, support his development, and maintain organized routines, always with a loving, patient, and positive attitude.
• During the hours when the child is at school, the person will take care of household tasks, especially washing, ironing, and clothing care, organizing closets and dressing rooms, keeping family belongings in order, cleaning and maintaining bedrooms and common areas, and general organization of the home.
• Special attention to detail and the ability to keep the house perfectly tidy are required.
• The family is looking for someone able to combine childcare with household responsibilities, organize their tasks independently, anticipate the family's needs, and facilitate the daily running of the household.
• The person will work alongside 2 other employees.

Requirements

• Essential proven experience in caring for school-age children and in domestic service, especially in laundry, ironing, and organizing closets and dressing rooms.
• Speaking English is highly valued, as the child communicates more easily in this language.
• The family is looking for someone especially loving, patient, positive, active, responsible, discreet, hardworking, and completely trustworthy, with initiative, good temper, and a collaborative attitude.
• It is essential that they have a very good way with children, know how to support them in their educational routines, and be able to build a close, respectful, and trusting relationship.
• The person must be organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and independent, with the ability to work as a team with the family, adapt to their needs, and maintain fluent communication.
• Flexibility in schedules and overnight stays is required, along with verifiable good references and documentation in order to work in Spain.
