Salary

€1,500 per month in 14 payments (12 + 2 bonus payments). In addition, the family provides an independent apartment so the housekeeper can stay during her rest periods.

Days and hours

Live-in arrangement, Monday to Saturday, with departure on Saturday at midday. During her rest time, the family makes an independent apartment available to the housekeeper where she may stay and enjoy her privacy

Duties

• General management and upkeep of the home, with the main responsibilities being thorough cleaning, tidiness and organization of the house, washing and care of clothing, very good ironing and daily family cooking.
• Cooking carries significant weight in this position: the family is looking for someone capable of preparing home-made, healthy, light and varied meals.
• The three children are already quite independent, so the position is not focused on their care, although it will be important to have a good rapport with them and to help out occasionally when the family's routine requires it.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a live-in housekeeper and ability to manage a home with a high degree of autonomy.
• It is essential to have a very good standard of cleaning, laundry, ironing, organization and daily cooking.
• Speaking English is very highly valued, as is knowledge of Filipino or Nepali cuisine.
• The family is looking for someone hardworking, responsible, organized, discreet, resourceful and completely trustworthy, able to identify what the home needs and carry out their duties without needing to receive continuous instructions.
• It is important that they like animals and are not afraid of dogs or allergic to them, although they will not be directly responsible for them.
• On a personal level, they are looking for someone positive, pleasant, good-natured and with an affinity for children, who will help create a good atmosphere at home.
• The family is used to maintaining long-term working relationships with its staff and wishes to find once again someone who integrates naturally, works as part of the team, feels comfortable and valued working with them, and seeks genuine long-term stability.
