👤 Position: Night Nanny specialized in newborn care
📍 Location: La Quinta, Marbella, Málaga
👫 Household: British family with a 10-day-old newborn and two older children
🐕 Pets: No pets
🕒 Days & Hours: 6 nights per week. Exact night-time hours to be agreed with the family. This is a night-only position; the nanny will arrive shortly before the beginning of her shift and leave once the night shift is finished
📅 Start Date: Urgent. As soon as possible. Temporary position for a maximum of 3 months
💼 Duties: Full overnight care of a 10-day-old newborn, allowing the parents to rest as much as possible during the night. The nanny will be responsible for bringing the baby to the mother for breastfeeding and collecting the baby again afterwards, changing nappies, burping, settling and resettling the baby, and attending to all of the newborn’s needs throughout the night. When expressed breast milk is available, the nanny may also give the baby a bottle so that the mother can sleep for longer uninterrupted periods. The role is exclusively focused on overnight newborn care; the mother wishes to spend the daytime with her baby and does not require daytime maternity support
✅ Requirements: Solid and demonstrable experience as a Night Nanny, Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist, with extensive hands-on experience caring for newborn babies from their first days of life. The family is looking for someone extremely responsible, caring, patient, calm, discreet, attentive and completely trustworthy, who is confident working independently throughout the night and has excellent knowledge of newborn feeding, sleep, settling and general routines. The candidate should be comfortable supporting a breastfeeding mother and working respectfully around the family’s preferred feeding routine. Excellent references and valid documentation to work in Spain are essential
