💼 Duties: Companionship, supervision and daily support for a 66-year-old gentleman with cognitive decline associated with Alzheimer's disease. He is currently in good physical health and retains some autonomy, but requires someone to oversee his routines, well-being and safety, as well as ensure correct medication intake. It will be important to provide him with a calm, stable and organized environment, accompany him in his daily life and know how to handle with patience and composure those moments when he may feel more anxious or disoriented. The position also includes general household management, including cleaning, organization, laundry care and daily cooking
✅ Requirements: Previous experience in caring for and supporting people with cognitive decline, with particular emphasis on prior experience working with Alzheimer's patients. We are looking for a highly responsible, patient, calm, affectionate and trustworthy profile, capable of respecting and encouraging the autonomy that the gentleman retains while simultaneously providing necessary supervision. It is essential to remain calm during possible episodes of anxiety or disorientation, have the ability to organize routines and monitor medication according to established guidelines. Must also have experience and autonomy to correctly carry out household tasks, especially cleaning and cooking. Essential availability to reside and relocate between Mollet del Vallès and Palamós. Driving license highly valued, though not essential. Good references and valid work permit required
💰 Salary: From €1,600 per month over 12 payments, depending on experience and profile.
