Live-in Nanny + Housekeeper.

Family with two children, aged 2.5 years and a newborn.

No pets. Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with appropriate breaks during the day.

Salary

CHF 2,700 net per month (Equivalent to aproximately 2.918 Euros) in 12 payments, plus the corresponding Swiss employment contributions and conditions. As this is a live-in position, accommodation in the family home will be provided, and the candidate may also remain in the house during weekends if she wishes, even though those are her days off.

Duties

• The selected candidate will have a combined childcare and housekeeping role.
• Childcare will be a very important part of the position, as the family has a 2.5-year-old child and a newborn.
• The candidate must feel completely confident caring for very young babies and should be experienced with feeding, changing, hygiene, sleep routines, walks, settling and age-appropriate stimulation for the newborn.
• She will also support the older child with daily routines, meals, play, bath time and activities, helping with development through reading, movement, play and age-appropriate stimulation.
• Alongside childcare, the candidate will be responsible for the general running of the home, including general and deep cleaning, tidying and organization, laundry, high-quality ironing and home cooking for the family.
• The family is looking for someone who can balance both sides of the role well, understanding when the children need to be the priority and when household duties can be completed.

Requirements

• Solid previous experience working as a live-in nanny/housekeeper and caring for babies and young children.
• Demonstrable experience with newborns is particularly important.
• The family is looking for someone warm, patient, responsible, positive, hardworking, organized, discreet and highly trustworthy, with initiative and the ability to integrate naturally into family life.
• She should be able to work independently and help make the household run smoothly and efficiently.
• The candidate can speak English, French, Russian or German.
• Excellent verifiable references are required.
• Candidates must have EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit.
