Not specified. Days & Hours: Live-in position. The usual working schedule will be Monday to Friday, with flexibility according to the family’s routine and needs. The candidate should also be available to work occasional weekends when necessary, as well as additional hours in exceptional circumstances. Any extra hours or additional availability will be compensated accordingly.

Salary

From €2,000 per month in 12 payments + Social Security, with the possibility of a higher salary depending on experience, skills, childcare background, driving ability and overall profile. As this is a live-in position, private accommodation within the family home will be provided, together with meals. The candidate will have her own private space within the home. Any additional hours, weekend work or exceptional availability required by the family will be compensated separately accordingly.

Duties

• The main responsibility of the selected candidate will be the general running of the household and all domestic duties.
• She will be responsible for general and deep cleaning, tidying and organization, laundry, garment care, good ironing and kitchen organization, keeping the home consistently well maintained and anticipating what needs to be done on a daily basis.
• She will also be expected to help with household shopping and errands, so a driving licence is an important requirement.
• The family values someone with good judgement who can independently manage shopping, choose quality products and understand what the household needs.
• The mother follows a vegan diet, so it will be highly valued if the candidate is familiar with vegan food, ingredients and products and has good judgement when selecting fresh produce, pantry items, seasonings and other products suitable for a varied and balanced vegan diet.
• Although the main focus of the role will be the household, the candidate will also provide support with the children whenever needed.
• With five children of different ages, including a young baby, it is important that she genuinely enjoys children, has good instincts with them and can naturally step in when the mother is busy or needs additional support.
• The family is looking for someone who can move comfortably between housekeeping and childcare, understand priorities and help make the day-to-day running of a large family smoother and more organized.
• The candidate must also be comfortable travelling with the family when required, including trips around Europe and to Switzerland.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a live-in housekeeper in private households, with the ability to run a home independently, organize tasks, anticipate needs and maintain a high standard of cleaning, ironing and household organization.
• The family is looking for someone positive, honest, well-mannered, organized, responsible and highly trustworthy, with initiative and good judgement.
• It is especially important that she has a genuine affinity with children and feels comfortable supporting a large family with children of different ages.
• The family wants to find someone who can work as part of the family team, feel comfortable in the home and build a stable, long-term relationship with them.
• A valid driving licence is required, as the candidate will be expected to help with shopping and practical day-to-day errands.
• English is required.
• The candidate must be able to communicate comfortably with the family in English.
• Due to the international travel involved in the position, the candidate must hold citizenship of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland, allowing her to travel and work legally with the family across Europe and in Switzerland.
• Good verifiable references and valid authorization to work in Spain are essential.
