Salary

Between 1,600 and 1,800 € gross per month, in 12 payments, depending on experience, skills and the candidate's profile, + Social Security. The family provides accommodation and board during the live-in arrangement, and on their days off they may live in the house.

Days and hours

Monday to Saturday, finishing Saturdays at midday. Live-in arrangement, with the corresponding rest periods. The child attends nursery from 09:00 to 12:00 h, and the mother is usually at home from 17:30 h onwards. Flexibility with schedules is required, as well as availability for occasional schedule changes or for working an additional day when necessary, always duly compensated. Availability and attentiveness during the nighttime is also required when the needs of the child or the family so require, as well as availability to accompany the family during their summer holidays.

Duties

• The position is primarily dedicated to the comprehensive care of a 14-month-old child, with no general housecleaning responsibilities.
• The selected person will be responsible for attending to all of the little one's needs, including feeding, hygiene, diaper changes, rest, play, walks, stimulation activities, and accompanying him through his daily routines.
• They will also be in charge of preparing his meals, keeping his room tidy and organized, managing his clothes, toys and belongings, and taking care of all tasks directly related to his care.
• He is an active child with a lot of energy, so we are looking for a dynamic, affectionate person who can keep up with him, play with him, entertain him, and actively support his development.
• It will be essential to foster his autonomy, learning and growth through age-appropriate activities, educational games, reading, stimulation and enriching experiences, avoiding the use of screens, phones and electronic devices as a form of entertainment.
• The nanny must maintain close and constant communication with the parents, informing them of how he has eaten, how much he has slept, his mood, his activities and any relevant circumstance related to his well-being.
• During nursery hours, they must organize the child's belongings, prepare his meals and plan his activities and needs.
• When the little one is sick or unable to attend nursery, they must take charge of him and care for him with special dedication.
• We are looking for someone who does not merely supervise him, but who genuinely gets involved in his education, emotional development and well-being, establishing a solid bond of affection and trust with the child and his parents.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a nanny in private homes, especially with babies and young children of similar ages.
• A natural way with children is essential, along with genuinely enjoying their company and knowing how to meet their needs with affection, patience, attentiveness and responsibility.
• We are looking for a person who is especially active, dynamic and energetic, capable of keeping up with a 14-month-old, playing with him, stimulating him and keeping him positively and educationally entertained.
• They must have knowledge of and good judgment regarding infant nutrition, sleep routines, hygiene, developmental milestones and stimulation activities appropriate to his age.
• It is essential that they be a very observant, communicative and transparent person, who keeps the parents informed about everything related to the child and builds a relationship of absolute trust.
• Fluent Spanish is essential to communicate correctly with both the parents and the little one.
• Knowledge of English is positively valued, although not mandatory.
• The family is looking for a cheerful, affectionate, positive, patient, honest, discreet, responsible, organized person with initiative, who brings a good atmosphere to the home, knows how to work as a team with the parents and respects their parenting guidelines and child-rearing approach.
• It is especially important that they have personal and professional stability, that they wish to stay with the family for many years and accompany the child through the different stages of his growth.
• Being an affectionate, approachable person with a good sense of humor, sensitivity and a genuine vocation for childcare, able to establish a relationship of trust and complicity with the little one, will be valued.
• They must be available to travel with the family during summer holidays.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit.
