Salary

€1,600 net per month in 12 payments or €1,400 net per month in 14 payments, depending on the agreed arrangement, + Social Security. The family provides accommodation and meals during the live-in arrangement.

Days and hours

Live-in arrangement, from Tuesday afternoon until Sunday night. Weekly rest from Sunday night until Tuesday noon. Flexibility is required to adapt to the children's needs and availability to occasionally accompany the family during their summer holidays around Spain.

Duties

• Position dedicated exclusively to the care and attention of two children, a 4-month-old baby and a 6-year-old boy.
• The family already has another employee who handles cleaning and household chores, so the selected person will focus 100% on childcare and on supporting the mother in everything related to the little ones.
• Responsibilities will include attending to the baby's needs, feeding, nappy changes, hygiene, sleep routines, early stimulation and support for their development, as well as looking after the 6-year-old, organizing games, educational activities, outings and age-appropriate entertainment.
• It will be essential to foster the learning, independence, creativity and emotional development of both children through play, reading, stimulating activities and enriching experiences, avoiding the habitual use of screens, phones and electronic devices as a form of entertainment.
• The family is looking for a nanny who will actively get involved in the children's day-to-day life, who enjoys playing and spending time with them, who knows how to adapt to their different ages and needs, and who builds a close and trusting emotional bond.
• She will also need to collaborate with the mother in organizing the children's routines, keep the children's toys and belongings tidy, and attend to any need directly related to their care.
• It is important that she knows how to work as a team with the mother, respect her educational guidelines and maintain fluid communication about the children's feeding, rest, activities, behaviour and development.
• She will need to accompany the family during their summer holidays around Spain.

Requirements

• Proven previous experience as a nanny in private homes, especially in caring for babies a few months old and school-age children.
• It is essential to know how to properly care for a 4-month-old baby, understand their feeding, hygiene, sleep and stimulation needs, and handle their care with confidence, responsibility and autonomy.
• Experience and ease in connecting with 6-year-old children is also required: playing with them, stimulating their learning and keeping them entertained through educational and creative activities.
• The family is looking for a person with a genuine vocation for childcare, who is especially affectionate, patient, cheerful, active, dynamic and full of energy, and able to adapt to the needs of two children of different ages.
• She must have a real gift with children, know how to build trust and form positive emotional bonds, always showing attentiveness, sensitivity and good judgement.
• It is essential that she be an honest, responsible, discreet, organized, punctual, hardworking, positive person of complete trust, with initiative and the ability to anticipate the little ones' needs.
• The family especially values someone who brings joy and a good atmosphere to the home, who truly enjoys her work, knows how to collaborate with the mother, and has a flexible and constructive attitude.
• They are looking for a stable and committed person, interested in a lasting working relationship and in accompanying the children through the different stages of their growth.
• Fluent Spanish is essential.
• English is not required.
• Availability to travel with the family during holidays around Spain, Europe and possibly on a trip to America is required.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit.
