Salary

From €1,600 net monthly in 12 payments, depending on experience and skills + employment contract and Social Security. Additional babysitting hours or weekend work will be paid separately or compensated with time off, according to agreement

Days and hours

Full-time position of 40 hours per week. Monday 7:00 to 13:00, Tuesday 8:30 to 18:30, Wednesday 15:00 to 19:00, Thursday 8:30 to 18:30 and Friday 8:30 to 18:30. Flexibility is required for babysitting services during the week or weekends, always with advance notice, as well as availability to travel occasionally with the family. Additional hours will be paid separately or can be compensated with time off during the week

Duties

• The main responsibility will be the care and wellbeing of the 2.5-year-old girl.
• You must follow her sleep and feeding routines, prepare her meals when necessary, take care of her clothes, utensils and toys, and support her development through games, educational activities, park visits, outdoor activities and age-appropriate plans.
• You will also accompany her through different developmental stages, including potty training, and maintain daily and fluid communication with the parents.
• The family will have a cleaner and a cook, so the position is mainly focused on the child and not on household chores.
• However, we are looking for a versatile person who is capable of preparing simple and healthy meals when the cook is not available and occasionally help with whatever facilitates the family's daily life.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a nanny and in caring for small children, with good knowledge of child development and experience in the different stages of these ages.
• We are looking for a person with native Spanish or perfect command of the language, with true vocation for childcare, calm, patient, affectionate, positive, punctual and responsible.
• You must be especially discreet and respectful of the family's privacy and spaces, as well as organized, proactive, flexible, energetic and capable of working with autonomy.
• It is important that you respect and follow the parents' parenting guidelines regarding routines, feeding, screen time and boundaries, and that you maintain close communication with them.
• Although the family will have a cook, you must be comfortable in the kitchen and capable of preparing simple and healthy meals when necessary.
• Availability to travel and to occasionally stay with the child when the parents are away.
• The family is looking for a stable person of absolute trust with the intention of staying with them long-term, who integrates into the family dynamic, works as a team with the parents and contributes to creating a calm, positive and happy atmosphere at home.
