Salary

From 1,600 € net per month in 12 payments + Social Security. As this is a live-in position, accommodation and meals are included in the terms of the position.

Duties

• The selected person will have as her main responsibility the accompaniment, care and daily support of an 80-year-old gentleman, helping him with his personal hygiene and with those personal routines in which he may need assistance.
• In addition, she will be in charge of the smooth running of the home, including general and thorough cleaning, order and organization, laundry and clothing care, and other usual household duties.
• Cooking will also be an important part of the position, so she must know how to prepare simple, varied home-cooked meals suitable for everyday life.
• Occasionally, it may be necessary to provide support with 3 children aged 5, 4 and 3, so it will be valued if the candidate has a good way with young children and feels comfortable helping with them when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a live-in housekeeper, domestic worker or caregiver for elderly people in private homes.
• Experience in accompaniment, hygiene and daily support for elderly people will be especially valued, as well as a good standard of cleaning, organization, laundry and home cooking.
• The family is looking for someone affectionate, patient, responsible, positive, discreet, organized and of absolute trust, with good manners and the ability to integrate naturally into the family dynamic.
• It will also be important that she feels comfortable occasionally supporting a young child.
• Being able to communicate in both Spanish and English will be especially valued.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit.
