Salary

From 1,400 € net per month over 14 payments, depending on experience and skills. If the person also speaks English, the family would pay a salary from 1,500 € net per month over 14 payments, depending on experience and skills. The position is mainly set up as live-out. However, the family has a separate one-bedroom apartment within the property that they can offer to the selected person if they prefer to live there. Living on the property is not mandatory.

Days and hours

Live-out, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Duties

• Full management of the cleaning, organization and daily maintenance of the family home.
• The housekeeper must carry out a good standard of cleaning and keep the house properly cared for, handle laundry, washing and garment care, very good ironing, changing bed linen and organizing wardrobes.
• They must also carry out shopping and household errands, prepare simple family cooking and everyday meals, as well as organize and prepare the home when the family receives guests.
• The family is looking for someone able to manage their responsibilities independently, organize and prioritize work properly, identify what needs to be done without constant instructions, and take initiative to ensure the household runs smoothly.
• They will also need to look after the children at certain times and pick them up from school.

Requirements

• Previous domestic service experience in private homes and a good command of cleaning, laundry, ironing, garment care, wardrobe organization and simple family cooking.
• The person must have experience with children.
• Knowledge of English is highly valued.
• A valid driving license is essential, and the person must drive safely and confidently, as they will need to do shopping, household errands and pick up the children from school.
• Owning a car is not necessary, as the family will provide a vehicle for work travel.
• The family is looking for a responsible, hardworking, discreet, organized, careful, proactive person of complete trust, with initiative, good judgement and the ability to work autonomously and anticipate the needs of the home.
• The family is looking for a stable and committed person who wants to stay long term, integrate naturally into the household routine and become a trusted person within the home.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit in force in Spain.
