Salary

700 € per month in 12 payments as base salary during months without public holidays worked + Social Security. Additionally, 120 € will be paid for each public holiday worked.

Days and hours

Thursdays from 17:00 to 21:00 h, Sundays from 08:00 to 21:00 h, and public holidays from 08:00 to 21:00 h. A total of 17 regular hours per week, plus the corresponding public holidays. The position consists of covering the days off of the live-in staff member who normally works in the home.

Duties

• Accompaniment and care of an elderly married couple, providing special support to the gentleman, who needs help walking, moving around, washing, and carrying out some everyday activities.
• He also uses a respiratory assistance device at certain times of the day, so you must know how to assist him following the corresponding instructions.
• Preparing dinner on Thursdays and lunch and dinner on Sundays and public holidays.
• A good level of Spanish and Mediterranean cooking is essential, especially in preparing traditional, varied, healthy, and high-quality home-cooked dishes.
• You must also keep the kitchen clean and organized.
• The main responsibility will be ensuring the well-being, safety, and comfort of both gentlemen during the absence of the regular staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience caring for elderly people, especially those with reduced mobility and personal assistance needs.
• Experience with respiratory assistance devices and knowledge of safe mobilization will be valued.
• A good level of Spanish and Mediterranean cooking is indispensable, knowing how to prepare traditional home-cooked dishes of quality and working independently in the kitchen.
• It is also essential to speak Spanish correctly and fluently, in order to communicate clearly with the owners and understand their needs and instructions.
• We are looking for someone affectionate, patient, responsible, discreet, honest, organized, resourceful, and fully trustworthy, with initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
• A driver's license and a car are essential, only to reach the home, which is located some distance from the entrance of the housing estate.
• Availability to work Sundays and public holidays, verifiable good references, and a valid work permit.
