Duties

• The selected person will be mainly responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of a large home, laundry, very good ironing, tidying and organizing bedrooms, wardrobes and common areas, and other usual tasks needed to keep the house perfectly organized.
• Regular cooking will not be required, although occasionally they may prepare something very simple, such as boiling vegetables.
• As this is a couple who work long hours and travel frequently, they are looking for someone with sufficient autonomy to keep an eye on the house, identify what is needed and keep everything in order without needing constant instructions.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in private homes and verifiable good references.
• Trust is especially important for this family, as they spend considerable time away for professional reasons.
• They are looking for someone honest, responsible, discreet, positive, organized and proactive, who will help make their day-to-day life easier and look after the home as if it were their own.
• They particularly value stability and a commitment to a long-term working relationship: their previous housekeepers stayed with the family for approximately 15 and 10 years respectively.
• Being able to communicate properly in English is essential.
• Experience preparing Filipino dishes will be highly valued.
• Valid work permit.
