Salary

Between €2,200 and €2,300 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications, with a permanent contract of 40 hours per week. The family offers a stable, close and respectful working environment, with a commitment to a long-term professional relationship, open communication and appreciation of the work done.

Days and hours

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Usual schedule Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 19:00, with 2 hours of rest during the working day. In addition, two Saturdays per month will be worked, compensated with one weekday day off for each Saturday worked. All Sundays are days off.

Duties

• The main priority of the position will be the care and wellbeing of the baby, accompanying them through all their routines and developmental stages.
• The selected person will be responsible for feeding, hygiene, diaper changes, naps, sleep routines and daily care, as well as carrying out stimulation and developmental activities adapted to their age.
• They must guarantee their safety, wellbeing and development at all times.
• From mid-February onwards, it may occasionally be necessary to take the baby to or pick them up from nursery.
• They must also be able to care for the baby at home when they are sick or unable to attend.
• Household chores will always be organized according to the baby's needs and nursery schedule.
• These include general cleaning and maintenance of the home, washing, folding and organizing clothes, tidying spaces and occasional household shopping.
• Ironing is not a priority.
• Cooking will also be part of the position, preparing homemade, healthy and balanced meals for the family, helping with basic menu planning and shopping lists, and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.

Requirements

• A qualification in Early Childhood Education, Child Care (Puericultura), Nursing Assistant with pediatric experience, or equivalent training is essential.
• Proven professional experience with babies under 12 months is required, ideally in nurseries, childcare centers or private families.
• Experience with newborns will be especially valued.
• The family is looking for someone affectionate, patient, responsible, discreet, organized and with a genuine vocation for childcare, able to combine caring for the baby with the day-to-day organization of the home.
• Initiative, good judgement and understanding that the baby will always be the priority, adapting the rest of the tasks to their needs, are important.
• Pediatric first aid training, experience with newborns and knowledge of healthy cooking will be positively valued.
• Fluent Spanish or English.
• The candidate must be comfortable working in a home with one dog and two cats.
• Good verifiable professional references and documentation in order to work legally in Andorra.
