No pets. Days & Hours: Monday to Friday from 12m to 7pm (The family has got flexibility about times).

Sóller, Mallorca.

Sueldo

From 1,800 to 2,200 Euros/month net in 12 payments a year, depending on the experience and abilities.

Tareas

• The selected candidate will have a combined childcare and housekeeping role.
• A very important part of the position will be helping care for the family’s two young children, particularly the 4-month-old baby.
• Responsibilities will include feeding, changing, hygiene, sleep routines, walks, play and age-appropriate stimulation, as well as supporting the 2.5-year-old with daily routines, meals, play and development.
• The family is looking for someone who is genuinely very good with children, affectionate, patient and confident with both babies and toddlers.
• She should understand the needs of young children and be able to support their emotional, physical and psychomotor development through appropriate play, interaction, reading, outdoor activities and stimulating routines.
• Alongside childcare, the candidate will help with the general running of the home, including cleaning and tidying, laundry, washing and organizing clothes, dishes, keeping bedrooms and common areas organized, and other regular household tasks.
• The person does not need to cook for the adults, although being able to prepare simple meals for the children would be very helpful.
• The ideal candidate will be able to balance both sides of the role, understand priorities and help make everyday family life easier, calmer and more organized.

Requisitos

• Solid previous experience caring for babies and young children is essential, particularly experience with newborns or infants.
• Previous housekeeping experience in private homes is also important.
• The family is looking for someone warm, responsible, trustworthy, hardworking, positive and organized, with initiative and the ability to work independently.
• She should genuinely enjoy working with children and be comfortable combining childcare with household responsibilities.
• The candidate must speak English or Spanish.
• Speaking both languages would be a plus but not mandatory.
• A valid driving licence and own transportation are essential, as the family is looking for someone who already lives independently and can commute to the home each day.Good verifiable references and valid authorization to work in Spain are required.
