💼 Duties: The position focuses primarily on comprehensive household management and maintaining a high standard of domestic service. Responsibilities include detailed cleaning, tidiness and organization, laundry and garment care, excellent ironing and daily cooking, ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the home. This is not a caregiving or elderly companion position, as the gentleman has his own caregivers. However, due to living with the couple, it may occasionally be necessary to provide some practical support or attend to specific needs. The candidate will also assist with routine dog care when needed. The candidate will have a small private house within the family's property, located next to the main residence, allowing her independence and privacy outside working hours.
✅ Requirements: Solid experience as a live-in domestic worker in private households and excellent domestic service standards. It is essential to be highly skilled in cleaning, organization, laundry, garment care, ironing and cooking, with the ability to manage a household independently, with initiative and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is mature, hardworking, organized, discreet, responsible, positive and completely trustworthy, with a good temperament and ease in adapting to the household dynamic. Although elderly care is not the primary function, the candidate must have patience, sensitivity and willingness to provide occasional support when necessary. The candidate may have Spanish or English as their main language, but a sufficient level of English is essential to communicate daily with the gentleman, suppliers and other people in the household. A driver's license is highly valued, although not essential. The family is seeking a professional who wants stability and with whom they can establish a trusting long-term employment relationship. It is essential to currently have legal rights to reside and work in the United Kingdom.
💰 Salary: £615/week gross, equivalent to approximately €720/week gross and around €2,880/month gross, private pension fund. Public holidays worked are paid at double the value of a normal day.
