Salary

€1,300 per month in 14 payments + independent accommodation + Social Security. The family provides an independent home located very close to the main house, within a small village. The selected person may live there alone, with their partner and even with their children, if they have any. However, it is important to note that the job offer and the salary correspond exclusively to one person, and the family will only hire one employee.

Duties

• General management and maintenance of a country house, combining household chores inside the home with the care and upkeep of the outdoor areas.
• The person will be responsible for cleaning and organizing the house, laundry, clothing care, ironing and family cooking, in addition to keeping the home properly organized.
• It is important that they can manage the garden and take care of its regular upkeep, as well as caring for plants and pots, assisting in the vegetable garden and other necessary outdoor tasks.
• They may also carry out practical tasks such as washing cars and minor everyday maintenance of the property.
• They are looking for a truly multi-purpose person who enjoys this type of work, who can handle both indoor and outdoor responsibilities and who can organize their duties independently.
• This is not a home with a particularly demanding pace, but the family places great importance on work being done with care, responsibility and a good standard of quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in domestic service and the ability to correctly carry out both the indoor tasks of a home and the regular care of a garden and other outdoor tasks typical of a country house.
• The person must be versatile, hardworking, responsible, organized, practical, resourceful and trustworthy, with initiative, autonomy and a good willingness to collaborate in different areas according to the property's needs.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to drive safely is essential, as this is a rural area where a car is necessary for getting around.
• Owning a vehicle is not required.
• They must speak Spanish correctly.
• Speaking Portuguese is a positive asset.
• English can be an advantage but is not necessary for the position.
• It is important that they enjoy country life, feel comfortable with dogs and other animals, and want to settle in a stable, long-term situation.
• Good references and a valid work permit.
