Days and hours

Live-in with a rotating schedule. On Mondays, the housekeeper works until 12:00 and always has the afternoon off. Tuesdays are always days off. On Wednesdays, work begins at 08:00. Alternating weekends are off. In weeks when weekend work is scheduled, the housekeeper remains live-in to care for the children and support the household. The specific days may be adjusted from year to year depending on the family's organization. During rest days, the selected person will sleep at their own home.

Duties

• The position combines childcare, cooking, and general household responsibilities.
• The selected person must support the children with their daily routines, supervise them, help them with their organization, accompany them when necessary, and contribute to creating a stable, warm, and positive environment at home.
• Childcare will be an especially important part of the role, so we are looking for someone who has a real gift with children, enjoys their company, knows how to treat them with affection and firmness, and can build a close, trusting relationship.
• In the afternoons, the housekeeper must be especially attentive to the children and accompany them to their extracurricular activities when appropriate.
• Mornings focus more on household tasks: general cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, organizing bedrooms and common areas, cooking, and other usual household duties.
• Although the family has an additional person who comes to help with cleaning and ironing, the candidate must be fully self-sufficient in these tasks and able to keep the house organized and running properly on her own.
• It is important that she makes good use of the mornings and gets household tasks well advanced during the week, since in the afternoons and especially during the weekends she works, the role will be much more focused on the children.
• Cooking is an important part of the position, with homemade, healthy, varied, high-quality cooking especially valued.

Requirements

• Previous experience caring for children, ideally aged 7 to 12, as well as experience working in private homes.
• Most importantly for the family, they are looking for someone who is especially good with children and cooks well.
• They seek a person who is affectionate, positive, organized, responsible, discreet, trustworthy, and proactive, who fits naturally into the family dynamic and knows how to work as a team with the mother.
• The candidate must also be autonomous and resourceful in everything related to cleaning, ironing, tidiness, and household organization, even when additional support is available some days.
• Being able to communicate properly in Spanish or English is essential.
• Although not strictly necessary, speaking English and having experience preparing Filipino dishes will be viewed very positively.
• Good cooking skills, especially healthy homemade cooking, are also valued.
• The family is looking for someone interested in a stable, long-term position who can become, over time, a trusted person within their family routine.
• Verifiable good references and a valid work permit are required.
