👤 Job type: Live-in childcare provider and family assistant for three children. This is not a housekeeper position (the family has cleaners three times a week).
📍 Location: Benirràs, in northern Ibiza. A car is essential to reach the house.
👫 Household members: A family with three children aged 7½, 6½ and 3½ years, all in school. One of the children has ADHD.
🐕 Pets: 2 small dogs + 1 medium dog.
🕒 Days and hours: Live-in. During the school term, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 to 9:00/10:00 and from 15:00 to 20:00, with flexible hours on Saturdays and up to two planned overnight childcare or sleep-in shifts per week. Wednesday and Sunday are normally days off. During school holidays the schedule shifts towards the morning and is agreed in advance.
📅 Start date: As soon as possible — the family needs someone urgently.
💼 Duties: Childcare for all three children: help with school preparation and packed lunches, school pick-ups when necessary, extracurricular activities, children's meals, play, bath time and bedtime routines. The childcare provider is responsible for the children's areas — bedrooms, bedding, clothes, play areas, school belongings and activity equipment. Alongside this, broader family assistant tasks: family shopping, reasonable household errands, tidying up after children's meals and activities, and light general cleaning. Occasional trips with the family.
✅ Requirements: Experience caring for multiple young children at the same time, with a caring and proactive manner and the calm, positive approach needed to support a child with ADHD. Fluent English. Comfortable around dogs. Non-smoker. Legally authorised to work in Spain. This is a long-term position and the family is looking for someone who wants to settle with them.
💰 Salary: €2,000 gross per month in 12 payments, with employment taxes and Spanish Social Security contributions paid by the family. Private live-in accommodation and meals included.
