Salary

€1,500 net monthly in 14 payments + Spanish Household Social Security regime = €1,750 x 12 payments

Accommodation

The home has an independent service area of approximately 50 m², with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. If the candidate joins before January, she will initially have her own bedroom and bathroom until the current employee's retirement, and will subsequently move to this independent apartment

Days and hours

Live-in position. Standard hours Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Approximately 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM will be dedicated to lunch service and 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM to dinner service. Remaining hours will be devoted to cleaning, laundry, and ironing, with the possibility of organizing part of these tasks in the morning before 2:00 PM or between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, according to household needs and organization. Time off from Saturday at 2:00 PM until Monday at 9:00 AM. Availability is required to accompany the family for approximately 15 days in August to their beach residence and during 2 or 3 skiing weekends in winter. Public holidays or weekends worked during these trips will be compensated financially or with additional vacation days

Duties

• Management of main household tasks in a single-family home of over 500 m², with special emphasis on cooking, laundry, ironing, interior cleaning, and table service.
• Cooking is a fundamental part of the position: must have an excellent level of Spanish cuisine, organize shopping and food logistics, and prepare daily lunch and dinner meals, as the family usually eats at home.
• Must also be experienced in correctly preparing and serving the table, as the family receives guests for professional and personal reasons.
• For interior cleaning, she will have the support of another live-out domestic worker and both will share approximately 50% of the work.
• This employee typically works from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, also handles breakfasts, maintenance, garden, outdoor areas, and windows, and will coordinate with the live-in worker for proper household functioning.
• The candidate must competently handle washing, caring for, and ironing clothes, as well as keep the areas of the house under her responsibility perfectly organized.

Requirements

• Experience in domestic service in private homes, preferably in large homes with a high level of service.
• It is especially important to have an excellent level of Spanish cooking and the ability to independently organize shopping, lunches, and dinners for a family of five.
• Must have excellent standards for laundry and ironing, be able to perform detailed cleaning, and have good presentation and experience in table service and hospitality when guests are present.
• The family seeks an organized, responsible, discreet, positive, hardworking, autonomous, and absolutely trustworthy person who knows how to coordinate and work as a team with the other household employee.
• The family is looking for a stable person who wants to remain with them for many years, integrate into the family dynamics, and facilitate their daily life, maintaining a relationship of trust and respect in the long term.
• Must be comfortable with cats and have availability to travel with the family as indicated.
• Good references and valid work permit required.
