👤 Job type: Live-in — comprehensive household and kitchen management
📍 Location: Approximately 8 months per year in a mas in Baix Empordà (Girona) and 3-4 months in Sant Feliu de Codines (Barcelona), in the employer's parents' home
👫 Household members: Mainly a gentleman living alone who receives guests frequently. During the months in Sant Feliu de Codines, he will also live with his parents, aged between 75 and 80, who are self-sufficient and have additional support in the mornings
🐕 Pets: No
🕒 Days and hours: Live-in regime. Weekend work is required, so days off will be during the week
📅 Start date: As soon as possible. The current employee is leaving on October 1st and will be able to provide training and handover of duties with the new hire
💼 Duties: General management and organization of the home, including detailed cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing and cooking. Cooking will be an important part of the position and the family is willing to provide training and courses to continue improving. She will also be responsible for shopping, monitoring household needs and coordinating external services and professionals when necessary. The gentleman receives guests frequently, so she must know how to prepare and maintain the house appropriately for entertaining visitors. This is not a home with an especially high workload, but a high level of cleanliness, care and attention to detail is required
✅ Requirements: Previous experience as a live-in domestic worker and ability to manage a household independently. We are looking for a responsible, organized, communicative, discreet person who is caring in the upkeep of the home and shows initiative. It is important to feel comfortable working quite independently and spending time alone in the home. Good cooking skills and willingness to continue learning and training. We are especially looking for someone who wants stability and a very long-term professional project. A driving licence will be valued positively; if the right person does not have one but is interested in obtaining it, the family is willing to help her with the process
💰 Salary: €1,500 per month in 12 payments, with some room for negotiation depending on the profile.
