📍 Location: Gijón, Asturias. The family lives in the city center, a five-minute walk from the beach, in an area with excellent quality of life.
👫 Household members: Four. Two adults and two children aged 8 and 2 years old. The home is not large.
🐕 Pets: None.
🕒 Days and hours: Live-in regime, Monday to Friday.
📅 Start date: September 2026.
💼 Duties: During the day the children are away from home — the older one at school and the younger one at daycare — and the mother picks them up, so the daytime is mainly dedicated to household management: daily cleaning and maintenance of the house, common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms, and general tidiness, keeping the house always in order. In the kitchen, prepare meals for the family and adapt the younger child's dishes to his age. In the afternoons the children are with their parents, and support with them will be occasional: loose hours and specific moments when the family needs it, accompanying them in their routines, snack time or playtime.
✅ Requirements: Real experience in caring for young children, proficiency in the routines of meals, nap time, bath time and play for a child around 2 years old, and with the supervision required at the stage when he begins to move around the entire house. Experience also with school-aged children and with the afternoon rhythm. A warm, patient and energetic person, eager to play and go to the park with the little one, capable of building a close and trusting relationship with both children. Experience in live-in domestic service, with a good standard in cleaning and maintaining a home. The kitchen is an important part of the position: someone is sought who enjoys cooking, has a good hand in the kitchen and is willing to learn local dishes; cooking skills in Filipino, Nepali or Indian cuisine are positively valued. An organized and autonomous person, capable of balancing childcare with running the household without needing to be told each step. English is positively valued, although it is not essential. A responsible and trustworthy person, who seeks a stable position and is willing to settle in Gijón for the long term.
💰 Salary: From €1,500 gross per month in 12 payments, depending on experience and skills.
