🕒 Days and hours: The family is considering two possible options: Tuesday to Saturday, including Saturday nights; or Monday to Saturday, with availability to work and stay overnight on Saturdays for additional remuneration. When the family travels, extensive availability to accompany them is essential.

💼 Duties: This position requires energy and skill with children, combined with regular household management. The working day starts early to prepare everything before the children wake up, typically around 7:30 am. The 4 and 6-year-old children are away from home during the day and return around 6:30 pm, while the 1.5-year-old normally stays at home. During the day you will care for the youngest child and manage household tasks, including cleaning, tidying, laundry, excellent ironing, and family cooking. In the afternoons, once all three children are home, the priority will be their care: play, meals, baths, routines, and bedtime preparation, normally between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm. The family wants someone truly engaged with the children, who plays, converses, and carries out activities with them, encouraging minimal screen time and avoiding personal phone use during childcare time. A fundamental part of the role will be accompanying the family on their travels and continuing to develop these functions during their stays outside Spain.
✅ Requirements: Spanish or other EU nationality is essential, as well as documentation that permits the required international travel. For trips to the United States, the candidate must meet the immigration requirements applicable to each journey, which the family will facilitate; it would be very helpful if you had family or friends in the United States. Solid experience with young children, especially of similar ages, is essential, and you must be a true nanny: affectionate, active, patient, energetic, and with initiative to play and organize activities. You must also have good standards of cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooking, and the ability to combine these responsibilities with caring for the youngest child. They seek a positive, resourceful, collaborative person of absolute trust, who shows initiative and actively contributes to facilitating the daily life of parents with demanding professional schedules. It is very important to the family that the candidate integrates as part of the family unit and establishes a stable bond with the children. At the same time, the parents place great importance on the person working for them being comfortable, feeling respected and happy at home, as they seek a healthy, stable, and long-term employment relationship. Real availability to travel throughout Europe and the United States is essential, without other responsibilities you may have in Madrid causing you concerns while travelling.
💰 Salary: €1,650 per month in 14 payments, plus generous additional remuneration for travel, public holidays worked during trips, and other applicable extras.
