💼 Duties: Comprehensive companionship and care for an 84-year-old lady with mid-to-advanced stage dementia. Meal preparation and service, medication supervision according to established guidelines, assistance with daily hygiene and support with routine household tasks. Companionship during weekend activities and outings, such as hairdresser appointments, therapies, visits with friends or other plans. No driving required, as transportation is arranged by taxi. Must maintain very fluid communication with her daughter, who lives outside Barcelona, and complete a daily report with information about how the day went, mood, behavior, memory and any relevant changes or incidents that may be useful for medical follow-up
✅ Requirements: Demonstrable experience caring for elderly people with dementia, having previously accompanied someone through this type of process and understanding their behaviors well. The lady is very calm and peaceful, but may repeat the same questions many times, so a person who is especially sweet, affectionate, patient and understanding is needed, capable of always responding with calm and tact. Must be observant and responsible in detecting changes and communicating detailed information to the family. The lady is especially sensitive to noise, so a very gentle, quiet and respectful person is sought, capable of moving around the home without creating unnecessary noise. Valid references and work permit are essential
💰 Salary: €150-200 per weekend x 12 payments
