Location

Salamanca neighborhood, Madrid. During summer, the family spends 2-3 months in Marbella and the candidate will travel with them, working on a live-in basis during that period.

Salary

€1,400 gross monthly in 14 payments + Social Security + food allowance. During months in Marbella, additional compensation will be received for temporarily working on a live-in basis.

Days and hours

Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During summer months in Marbella, the position will temporarily switch to live-in basis. Availability to travel and stay with the family during this period is required.

Duties

• Primarily responsible for household care and maintenance, with special emphasis on ironing, laundry and garment care, cleaning, organization and household management, and family home cooking.
• A person is sought with excellent ironing and cooking skills, careful with clothing and household details, and capable of organizing tasks with autonomy and initiative.
• Childcare will not be the main function, as the family has a live-in nanny, but must be able to provide occasional support with the 11-month-old baby when the nanny is busy or absent.
• On Friday mornings and Saturday mornings, there will be greater responsibility for baby care.

Requirements

• Experience in domestic service in private households and good skills in ironing, laundry, garment care, cleaning and family home cooking.
• Important to have experience and a good hand with babies to care for the child when necessary.
• A person is sought who is autonomous, proactive, hardworking, positive, discreet, honest, careful and completely trustworthy.
• Must work very well as part of a team with the live-in nanny and contribute to the household functioning in an organized manner.
• The family is especially looking for a stable, committed person with the intention of staying with them for a long time, who integrates well into their dynamic, facilitates daily life and builds a long-term relationship of trust.
• Essential: availability to travel to Marbella during summer and work as live-in during the 2-3 months the family is there.
• Good references and valid work permit required.
• English language skills and knowledge of Filipino cuisine are especially valued.
