Location

Barcelona and surrounding areas. Offices in Sant Cugat del Vallès, family residence on the outskirts of Barcelona and travel to nearby second homes

Salary

From €45,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and skills.

Days and hours

Monday to Friday, mainly during working hours, with flexibility for possible extended working hours according to the employer's schedule and needs. Occasional availability required for some weekends, travel or specific trips which may also require overnight stays.

Duties

• Approximately 80% of the position will be dedicated to private driver functions, carrying out the employer's daily transfers between home, office, meetings, appointments and different properties.
• You will also carry out occasional transfers of other family members when necessary.
• You will also be responsible for maintaining the vehicle fleet of the employer and their family.
• The remaining 20% will correspond to personal assistant functions and trusted confidant: running errands, collecting and delivering documentation, shopping or commissions, practical tasks and any other task that contributes to facilitating the employer's day-to-day life.
• You must correctly plan routes and schedules, anticipate possible needs and always maintain safe, punctual, discreet and professional driving service.

Requirements

• Experience as a private driver, professional driver or in similar positions of trust.
• Valid driving licence, extensive driving experience and excellent, safe and cautious driving.
• Discretion, confidentiality, loyalty and trust are absolutely fundamental for this position.
• We are looking for a responsible, honest, well-mannered, punctual, organised, resourceful, positive, cheerful and easy-to-get-along-with person, with initiative and availability to adapt to schedule changes.
• You must be able to maintain professional boundaries perfectly and handle with maximum confidentiality the information, documentation, conversations and personal or professional circumstances to which you may have access.
• The selected person will replace a professional who has been working with them for approximately 10 years and who is retiring, so we are particularly looking for someone who wants to give continuity to the position and establish a very long-term professional relationship.
• The objective is to find a person of absolute trust, stable, conflict-free, who integrates naturally into the employer's and their family's dynamics and who stands out for their good work, availability, prudence and loyalty.
• Good references and valid work permit required.
