👤 Job type: Live-in — responsible for the comprehensive organization and maintenance of the house, family kitchen and laundry, with logistical support for the children. Not a nanny profile: the core of the position is household management.
📍 Location: Valdemarín / Aravaca (Madrid). Approximately 400 m² residence distributed across four floors with elevator.
👫 Household members: Two adults and three children aged 15, 10 and 8.
🐕 Pets: One small dog, to be cared for according to the established routine.
🕒 Days and hours: Live-in regime, Monday to Saturday (Saturday leaving at 8:00 a.m.). Monday to Friday the schedule would be split into two daily blocks: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 7:00–11:00 and 16:00–20:00; Tuesday and Thursday: 7:00–11:30 and 16:30–20:00. Midday break is continuous and at your discretion — between five and five and a half hours, lunch included — and falls during the period when children are not at home. Friday night you would sleep in the house but leave early Saturday morning. Weekends off.
📅 Start date: Immediate.
💼 Duties: Comprehensive household management. Daily maintenance of kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms, playroom and circulation areas, and deep cleaning on rotation of the rest of the house. Scheduled special cleanings, including upholstery, silver, glassware, display cabinets, lamps and interiors of cupboards and appliances. Complete laundry from start to finish: sorting, washing, hanging, folding, ironing and putting away. Healthy family cooking — breakfasts, snacks and lunch or dinner — usually for six people. Logistical support with the children: morning routine, assigned afternoon pick-ups and snacks; the presence of children at home does not imply exclusive attention, as while they eat, play or do their activities work continues on household tasks. Dog care and monitoring of the domestic supplies replenishment list.
✅ Requirements: Real experience in large homes and high-standard cleaning, with demonstrated ability to manage a house of these dimensions autonomously. Experience with delicate materials, upholstery, silver, glassware and household organization particularly valued. Good level of healthy family cooking, laundry and ironing. We are looking for a cheerful, orderly, organized, resourceful and energetic person, with high initiative: ability to detect what the house needs and act without waiting for instructions for each task. Good rapport with children and ability to support them day to day, respecting that educational decisions are the parents' responsibility. Absolute discretion, reliability, punctuality and good communication. Current work permit is essential. The house has operating procedures defined in writing, which are provided and explained upon joining. The residence has security cameras at the entrances.
