Duties

• High-level domestic service in a home that has additional staff.
• For a large part of the working day you will work in coordination with the live-in housekeeper, taking special responsibility for the washing and care of clothing, very good ironing, organisation of wardrobes, and proper maintenance of the garments and textiles in the home.
• You will also take part in the cleaning, tidiness, organisation and general maintenance of the home according to the needs of the day.
• Cooking will be another important function, especially preparing and organising dinner, so you must know how to prepare good-quality family cooking and leave the kitchen properly organised after service.
• The person must understand how a home with high standards operates, anticipate the owners' needs, and coordinate naturally with the live-in housekeeper and the rest of the staff.

Requirements

• Solid and demonstrable experience in domestic service, preferably in high-end private homes and houses with several employees.
• Excellent ironing, laundry and garment-care skills are essential, including the ability to properly organise wardrobes and handle different types of clothing.
• A good level of cleaning and cooking is also required.
• Experience in protocol, table service and attending high-end homes will be especially valued; if you do not have this knowledge, you must have interest, attitude and the ability to learn it. They are looking for an experienced, discreet, polite, organised, observant, resourceful professional who pays great attention to detail.
• It is essential to work well in a team, accept instructions and coordinate correctly with the live-in housekeeper and the rest of the staff, helping to maintain a positive and professional working environment.
• We are looking for a hardworking, positive person who is easy to get along with and completely trustworthy, who understands the level of discretion, professionalism and quality of service the home requires.
• Good references and a valid work permit.
