Live-out Housekeeper + Nanny.

Household members

Family of 4 with 4-year-old twins. The family is German and has lived abroad for many years, including 10 years in Singapore. The children are already used to having household help, as the family previously had a live-in helper for 6 years.

Pets

No pets. Days & Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, spread over several days, mainly in the afternoons (3-7pm) until dinner time. Occasionally, some weekend work or evening availability may be required to stay with the children while they are sleeping.

Start Date

Within the next few weeks.

Salary

Approximately €750–€800 per month in 12 payments, depending on experience and profile, + Social Security.

Duties

• Mixed position combining cleaning, ironing, cooking and childcare.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for general cleaning and tidying of the home, preparing simple family meals and caring for the 4-year-old twins.
• During the afternoons, she will support their routines, play with them, supervise them and help with whatever is needed until dinner time.
• The family would particularly like the nanny to spend quality time with the children once comfortable and speak Spanish with them, helping them learn and become more comfortable with the language.
• The parents are also learning Spanish themselves but are able to communicate simple tasks.
• On some occasions, she may also be required to stay at home in the evening while the children are asleep.

Requirements

• Previous experience with household duties, family cooking and childcare.
• The family is looking for someone responsible, caring, organized, proactive, independent and trustworthy, with a good way with children and the ability to manage household tasks without constant supervision.
• Fluent Spanish is essential, as the family would like the children to learn Spanish naturally through their time with the nanny.
• A few words or a basic level of English would be helpful for communication with the parents, although it is not essential.
• Good references and valid authorization to work in Spain are required.
